About Magus Pressworks

Magus Pressworks is a creative studio currently based out of Tucson, Arizona. We design functional products and artwork, mainly focusing on themes of horror, the macabre, and fantasy. Select products can be found and purchased locally in Tucson inside of Evil Face Entertainment as well as at select pop-up events and markets around the Southwest (check our schedule by clicking here). We hope to soon expand our range of travel to include conventions and events across the United States.

Our process for creating our products and artwork includes traditional clay sculpture as well as digital sculpture. Typically we start out by sculpting in oil-based clay (primarily Monster Clay), then using a process called photogrammetry to “scan” the clay sculpts and digitize them. From there, we use 3D sculpting software to make any necessary clean-ups and fixes. From there, we are able to turn our original clay sculptures into a wide variety of products, which we then produce in-house using high quality 3D printing. The individually produced pieces are then hand painted in-house as well. This process gives us a unique blend of creative freedom and replicability, letting us make one of a kind products available on a wide scale.

Besides sculpture and unique products, Magus Pressworks also provides services to select clients in the digital space. These services include website design, web development, branding and logo design, search engine optimization, Google Ads consulting and management, and more. Prior to the start of this company, our founder’s career focused on these areas for more than 20 years. We’re excited to now bring those same skills to bear for select clients who we feel we can help most effectively.
