Magus Pressworks primarily produces artwork in the form of sculpture, specifically oil clay sculptures. We focus on the dark and the macabre, although we take commissions for other styles as well.

I grew up watching old horror and science fiction movies, reading scary novels and comics, and telling scary stories around a campfire. I always enjoyed practical effects, specifically how creatures were made for movies, how they worked, and who created them. My mom created an environment which celebrated horror fiction and where Halloween was our favorite holiday, and in my adult life this has translated into a fascination with macabre art. When I discovered my own love for sculpture, I of course worked on finding a way to merge these two things. As a result, my art tends to focus on creatures, monsters, and dark / macabre objects. I love curiosities and oddities, and my artwork definitely reflects that.
